Almost a year has lapsed since Julie and Ian's wedding, and I am very slow in this note to you. Nonetheless, I have wanted to express to you how very much we have appreciated and continue to appreciate the lovely photo album and the wonderful photographs from their wedding. You captured that very special day and precious memories so beautifully, and we will have this special reminder to treasure and reminsce with always.

As I looked at the photos that we and many others took at the wedding, I bacame ever more appreciative of your excellent skills, talent, attention to detail, care, and workmanship. So many of the "home" photos caught people with funny expressions, talking, eating, poor lighting, fuzziness, and a whole variety of problems that just were not part of your photography. How you were able to get excellent picture after picture, so natural looking, is certainly the sign your very skillful work as a photographer. We were thrilled with the photos and had a terrible time choosing - there were so many wonderful ones!

And you and Sophie were so much fun! I will never forget Sophie sewing up the rip in Brad's tuxedo pants. Between the two of you, I really felt your spirit with us, wanting the day to be wonderful, and enjoying the time with us, too. We appreciate not only your skills as a photographer moving around people and catching all the special moments, but your genuineness, your sincerity.

Dear Larry,

John and I just wanted to let you know how very pleased we are with our wedding photographs. When we took the proof books home to our families, they just "raved" about how wonderful they were. All of us had a tough time choosing the pictures we wanted because there were so many geat shots. A problem which we didn't mind in the least!

Thank you for including so many close-ups of family and friends. We love the way that you approached the candid shots and black and whites that we requested. We feel that the pictures truly reflect the joy and happiness we experienced with our family and friends that day.

We interviewed six other photographers, and we were so glad to see that you had a different style than the majority of others we talked to. To be quite honest, I was beginning to get a little depressed about all the posed, "70's ish" type pictures that we were seeing. The quality, composition and more informal feeling of your photography style was just what we were looking for.

And what a team you make with Sophie! She was just great - working so well with family members and keeping us on schedule (and the bride and groom fed!). We were ecstatic when we saw the proofs from our wedding. You certainly captured the spirit of the preparation, ceremony, and reception for us.
